I had a great value for my money, as the room at Veera'S was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the lake and in a peaceful area with lots of greenery. The staff, especially Veera, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was having more variety of food options in the morning.

The in-house restaurant is a true culinary gem, offering a delicious array of Indian and local cuisine. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like a symphony, leaving me craving more with every bite. The vegetarian options were a delightful surprise, adding a healthy twist to my dining experience.
Mirrorless bathrooms.

I loved the serene vibe and stunning rooftop view. The staff was friendly, and there was free WiFi. But who needs a 24-hour front desk when you have infinite patience?

During my stay over Christmas, I had a great time at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to help me. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the markets and the lake. I also loved the fact that the hostel had a rooftop terrace, where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area. The atmosphere was really lively and it was easy to meet interesting people from all over the world.
I did have a few minor issues during my stay. the mattress was quite hard, but I still managed to get a good night's sleep.

The rooms at Veera's Hostel are absolutely charming! Each room has a private bathroom with a bath, which is great for some me-time. I loved the cozy tile/marble floor and the seating area to relax. And oh, certain rooms even offer breathtaking mountain views! It truly feels like being one with nature.
Personally, I would have preferred if the rooms had a better soundproofing.

This hostel is a great choice if you want to be close to the heart of the city. Just a 5-minute walk from the bustling center market, it offers convenience and accessibility. the accommodations are clean and comfortable, providing great value for the price. the host, Veera, is incredibly sweet and accommodating, going out of his way to help guests with any requests they may have.
The immediate surroundings of the hostel can be a bit dark and desert-like, which may not appeal to everyone.

They have a private bathroom with a bath, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The double room also features a tile/marble floor and a cozy seating area, making it feel like a home away from home. And the best part? Certain rooms offer stunning mountain views, adding an extra touch of tranquility to your stay. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated these cozy, comfortable, and picturesque rooms.
One thing that I personally didn't love about the rooms at Veera's Hostel is the tile/marble floor. While some may find it stylish, I found it a bit cold and slippery.

The rooms at Veera's Hostel are absolutely fantastic! Each room has its own private bathroom with a nice relaxing bath. The double room is so cozy, with beautiful tile or marble floors and a comfortable seating area. And if you're lucky, you might get a room with amazing mountain views!
Well, personally, I'm not a big fan of the tile/marble floors in the double room. But hey, that's just my opinion.

We had a fantastic time at a calm and cheap place near the centre lake temple. The staff was very nice and always had a smile on their face. The common area was very clean, and we were able to get Wi-Fi from a mobile hotspot. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake and temple. Although the room cleanliness was not perfect, it was still okay by Indian standards. I highly recommend this hotel for its affordable price and great location near the temple.

Chill vibes and stunning views from the rooftop. Free WiFi helped me pass the time while waiting for the staff to acknowledge my existence at the 24-hour front desk. The local cuisine at the restaurant was an interesting adventure for my taste buds.
The evening entertainment was nonexistent, just like the staff's enthusiasm to assist me.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent, with clean and spacious rooms and well-maintained toilets. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the lake and other landmarks. The staff, especially Virender, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and created a positive and fun atmosphere.
The breakfast menu could be improved with more variety or options to choose from.
